Things You Must Do On Your Wedding Day

Wake up happy!

Don’t rush to get out of bed when you wake up on your wedding day. Take a few moments to breathe deeply and appreciate the wedding journey thus far. Send your love a message reminding them how much you loved them and how excited you are to meet them at the alter. Take a quick browse through your photo gallery and smile at all the memories you already created, and get excited for the many more to come.  This time to relax and reflect will initiate a calm start to the day and release any anxiousness you may be feeling.

Pump some music!

They say music is the language of the soul. Spill your guts with this tip right here. During the planning process, create a wedding day playlist that includes all the love songs that makes you think of your partner and sing your heart out!  Once all the wedding jitters and happy tears are out, blast some party music and get you and your girls amped for the amazing day you are about to have!

Take Random Photos

Whether you have a photographer for getting ready photos or not, get your bridesmaids to snap some shots of everyone preparing you for your walk down the aisle. Whether it’s a photo of hair and makeup or someone stuffing a croissant in their mouth, looking back at these candid photos will bring huge smiles the days after the wedding.

Have a Toast With the Ladies

Grab the mimosa and toast the ladies who have been by your side throughout your relationship, during the crazy wedding planning and will continue to be there for you. Give a special shout out of appreciation to the matriarchs of yours and your partner's family and share how you are feeling at that very moment. The capture of true genuine feelings on the morning of your wedding is never a moment to miss!

Practice Your Vows

What your vows sound like in your head, may sound very different aloud. Practice your vows in the shower, during hair and make-up or while you're getting dressed. Anytime before you're set to walk down the aisle. Be conscious of your annunciation and your pace. Your guests want to hear your heartfelt words, but more importantly, you want your love to hear and feel your emotions as your share your hopes and dreams for your future.

Eat!

This is a big one. It is very easy to wake up on the morning-of and immediately be consumed with the events of the day. Hours could pass before you realize you didn’t eat. Don’t make that mistake. Pop a bagel in and have a quick cup of coffee. If you can have a big breakfast, even better. You’re likely not going to eat again before dinner. And! Don’t forget to stay hydrated throughout the day.
